El Ascensor

The entrance to this classic bar in the Barri Gňtic neighborhood is adorned with a golden elevator that also has given the bar its name. El ascensor translates to elevator in the Spanish language. The bar's specialty is Whiskey Sour, Mojitos and Pomade, which is a strong drink from the tiny Mediterranean island Menorca.

Boadas

Barcelona's oldest cocktail bar. The bar was opened as early as 1933 after Miquel Boada had learned everything he needed to know at the legendary La Floridita bar in Cuba. The walls are decorated with photos, letters and drawings from some of 1900s most recognized artists and writers, Boada is a classic beautiful bar, without DJs or lounge music.

Dry Martini

A classic local who in 2008 celebrated its 30th anniversary. Here are all the bartenders dressed in white suit and their specialties are as the name suggests, Dry Martini. In this place you can get a mix of gin and vermouth in all different forms. Definitely worth a visit. In the same room you will also find the quite correct restaurant Speakeasy.

Gimlet

Gimlet has been in Barcelona since 1980 in the heart of the neighborhood Born. It is one of Barcelona's most famous cocktail bars and a reference for the whole of Barcelona. Their favorite drink is not entirely unexpected Gimlet.

Mirablau

This bar is located at the foot of the Tibidabo hill and offers one of the city's best views. Very romantic and good cocktails. Their favorite cocktail is Ron Cooler, freshly squeezed orange juice and Rome. At night the lights are turned off and the bar becomes a night club.

Blue Moon

At the hotel Rivoli in the busy street, La Rambla, we find this cocktail bar that becomes a piano bar every Tuesday to Friday from 19-21. Try their specialty Blue Moon: Vodka, Triple sec, Cava and Blue Curacao.

Milano Cocktail Bar

A bar that is not entirely easy to find but once you do, you can enjoy a true classic decor reminiscent of an old Hollywood movie from the 50s. Campari is what they drink most of in here. Every Wednesday and Thursday the Milano cocktail bar arranges jazz concerts.

Ideal Cocktail Bar

This for Barcelona residents well-known bar opened its doors already in 1931 but would not come to serve cocktails until much later. This bar is best known for its whiskey's and Gin Tonic's. If you like single malt whiskey you've come to the right place as there are no fewer than 90 different whiskeys to choose from.

Velcro

A small place in Gracia, which are specialized in all kinds of cocktails. Young and good atmosphere with good music where the owners Humbert and Josie and the cocktail ace Emilio make sure that everyone feels just right at home. Good and personal service, or as they say in the TV series Cheers: A bar where everybody knows your name.
