Two very popular attractions in Barcelona are the Parc Güell and the Magic Fountain. They are not listed below since they have free entry so they don’t figure in official statistics.
 



1. Temple de la Sagrada Familia

Designed in the shape of a Latin cross with five hubs and three facades. The temple is most famous for its slender towers that rise nearly 100 metres above ground and with pinnacles decorated with ceramics.

2. CosmoCaixa Barcelona

Barcelona's science and nature museum. CosmoCaixa was renovated in 2004 and in 2006 it received recognition as Europe's best museum. Here you can walk through a rainforest, explore the universe at the planetarium or visit the toca toca! - where you can play with animals such as starfish, fish and desert mice. A personal favourite in Barcelona.

An exhibition hall operated by the organization Fundació La Caixa, owned by the Catalan bank La Caixa. Entry is always free at CaixaForum and you can often look at great art along with other interesting exhibitions. Check their website for the full program.

4. Barcelona aquarium

5. Museu FC Barcelona, Camp Nou

Walk the self-guided tour through the Camp Nou, taking you through the changing rooms, the press room and of course to the players’ dugout beside the pitch. The tour ends in the Barcelona Museum, where you can admire all the trophies the club has won through the years.

In this Spanish village you can see architecture and crafts from all over Spain. The village was built for the World Exhibition in 1929 but not as you might think to show Spanish architecture to the world, but to show that Spain was represented in Barcelona and Catalonia.

7 . La Pedrera (Casa Mila)

La Pedrera (The Quarry in English) was built by Gaudí between 1906 and 1910. The house is designed as an apartment building and initially the plan was to have two indoor ramps so the residents could drive their cars all they way up to the apartment doors. This was not possible to implement so instead Gaudí decided to build a garage, which became the first garage in Barcelona.

9. Fundació Joan Miró

The Fundació Joan Miró is situated on the Montjüic mountain and contains numerous works of this painter and sculptor. The beautiful building is itself a notable example of modern design. To get there you can either take the Metro to Espanya and then walk for 15 minutes, or you can take the Bus Turistic which stops right outside the museum.
