Barcelona restaurant guide - fish & meat restaurants |
|
|
|

Fresh fish can be found everywhere in Barcelona
|
|
|
When it comes to eating and drinking in Barcelona there's only one but very important rule: do not eat on Las Ramblas! The reason is simple: you pay twice as much, the quality is poor and you have to pay extra for everything. For example, there's an "terrace dining" fee - €1.50 PER PRODUCT! Stay away from Las Ramblas and we can promise you that you will return home satisfied with your culinary experiences in Barcelona.

El Cangrejo Loco is located all the way out on the Port Olimpic pier, which is always crowded with tourists. Here you can order freshly delivered fish and seafood while admiring the wonderful view over the Mediterranean and Barcelona. There are plenty of choices on the menu although it can be quite expensive. However, the delicious fish and the fantastic views make it worth every penny!
Address: Moll de Gregal, 29-30, Barcelona
Opening hours: noon to 1 a.m (Mon-Sun)
Price: approximately
€36-40 per person
Metro: Ciutadella – Port
Olímpic , L4

La Gavina is one of my favourite restaurants. It's located near the Port Vell inside the old military barracks of Palau De Mar, between Barceloneta and Port Vell. We suggest lunch there, enjoying a dish of paella or arroz negro.
Address: Plaza Pau Vila,
Palau de Mar, Barcelona
Opening hours: noon to 1
a:m (Mon-Sun)
Price: approximately
€20-35 per person
Metro: Barceloneta,
L4
