Barcelona shopping guide - shopping centres Barcelona

Maremagnum shopping center
Maremagnum - Open 7 days a week

If you start to get sore feet from traipsing up and down these districts, try one of the shopping centres downtown. The shopping centres have plenty of shops and bars so the tired ones in the family can sit down for a beer and tapas while the others keep shopping. Below you find our favourites:

El Corte InglésEl Corte Ingles - Placa Catalunya

Spain's largest department store chain. There are a number of El Corte Inglés department stores in Barcelona, but the largest one is located right on Placa Catalunya. In this huge department store there are ten floors where you can find anything and everything! On the top floor is also a café with a nice view of Placa Catalunya. Doesn't this sound perfect for the shopaholic?

Address: Placa de Catalunya, 14
Opening hours:  10 am - 8 pm (Mon - Sat)
Metro: L1, Pl. Catalunya

Shopping centres outside of Barcelona city

La Roca Village - Barcelona outlet shopping

La Roca Village is located about 40 km outside of Barcelona. The shopping centre is built as a small village with streets instead of a large complex. Here you can find outlet products from the major international brands such as BOSS, Ralph Lauren, Antonio Miró and others.

Opening hours:
11 am - 8.30 pm (Mon - Fri)
10 am - 10 pm (Sat)

The best way to La Roca Village is to go by bus. The bus departs from the bus stop Fabra Puig that is located slightly outside the centre but it's easily accessible by metro line L1 (towards Fondo).

There are four buses leaving every day and the journey takes approximately 50 minutes:
Bus route: LIE MAJOR-GRANOLLERS-BARCELONA
