Bus Turistic - hop on and off the bus
This is the most popular and easiest way to see and experience Barcelona.
The idea is simple: you buy a 1 day or a 2 day ticket and then you hop on
and off the buses that go non-stop around the city. There are two
different routes - red line and the blue line. The same ticket is
valid for both lines. The red line takes you
around downtown, while the blue line goes a
little further outside the city centre, including the football stadium
Camp Nou, Parc Güell and Tibidabo. During the summer, there is also the
green line that takes you to all the beaches of Barcelona.
When you buy a ticket, you get a map and a booklet with discounts to various
museums and restaurants, etc. The buses are equipped with headphones with which
you can listen to guides in many different languages.
You can ride the tourist buses between 9 am and 9 pm and there is a bus every 5
to 10 minutes.
1 day ticket (adult) €22,
(children, 4-12) €14
2 day ticket (adult) €29
(children, 4-12) €18

There is more than one bus
company offering sightseeing tours in Barcelona. Although, the bus company
described above is the official one and the one which has the most buses.
If you add €6 to your ticket you may use the bus for two days instead of
one. Don't rush, buy a 2-day ticket and ride one line per day. It takes
time and effort to go on sightseeing buses!
